Africa’s Biggest Gaming Guild Gamic, Shares Web 3.0 Experience at Binance Blockchain Week 2022

Lagos, May 16, 2022

Gamic Guild is leading the enormous adoption of play-to-earn NFT games in Africa through community and education. Africa and the globe at large are benefiting from Web 3.0, which is the decentralized internet. Binance Blockchain Week 2022 in Dubai gave the Gamic Guild team an opportunity to meet and work with other blockchain professionals and thought leaders in the field.

There were over 80 notable speakers at Binance Blockchain Week 2022, including more than 10 significant keynote speakers and more than ten panels and fireside talks from around the world. Blockchain communities and innovative disruptors got together to discuss the future of Web 3.0 and share insights on the adoption of the most technologically advanced ideas of the century. The event was sponsored by key blockchain protocols across the metaverse, such as GameFi, DeFi, and NFTs, and also included Binance Blockchain Week POAP NFTs (Proof of Attendance Protocol). According to the official event website, the benefits of these special NFTs are still in the works.

Chike Okonkwo, one of the co-founders and business developers of Gamic Guild, spoke to Cointelegraph about his motives for participating in the blockchain adoption movement in Africa. He stated that “Crypto changed my life” and feels that Blockchain and Web 3.0 provide limitless prospects for Africa and the rest of the globe. Although many young people are taking advantage of the professional prospects in the crypto industry, Ukeme Okuku, another Gamic co-founder, told Cointelegraph that there is a lack of awareness about those opportunities and that it is therefore still a huge problem.

Blockchain and Web 3.0 will benefit from Binance Blockchain Week 2022 since it provided attendees with a memorable experience and opened doors for collaboration.
